The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) recently published the Sample Papers for skill education subjects from grades 9 to 12 for the year 2024 to 2025.

The CBSE has published sample question papers for a range of subjects including Retailing and Technology Information Technology and Web Applications Financial Market Management Tourism Beauty Agriculture Front Office Operations Banking Marketing Healthcare Insurance Horticulture Typography & Computer Applications Geospatial Technology Electrical Technology Electronics Technology Multimedia Taxation Cost Accounting Office Procedures & Practices and Shorthand (English) among others.
The official notice mentions that under the updated rules of the Board regarding affiliations schools are not required to submit applications for introducing additional subjects or Skill subjects other than Physics Chemistry and/or Biology. The school needs to complete the details, in the OASIS form and furnish the information.
In June this year CBSE revealed updates to the curriculum and content for skill subjects starting from the academic year 2024 to 2025. These modifications will have an impact on subjects like Web Application for Grade 11 well as Information Technology for Grade 10 and Artificial Intelligence for Grades 9 and 11.
Through an announcement CBSE notified stakeholders about these changes and advised them to check the boards website, for more detailed information. The focus of the CBSEs program is to equip students, with the skills and knowledge to thrive in the changing technological environment.
